Brazil will demonstrate its position as a leading supplier of natural stones to the United States at Coverings 2025, North America's largest coverings fair. Running April 29-May 2 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, the Brazilian Pavilion will feature 57 companies from six states in a specially designed space highlighting the country's geological diversity.
The pavilion, presented by the "It's Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone" project (a partnership between Centrorochas and ApexBrasil), was designed by architect Rômulo Pegoretti and will feature hanging gardens on the central frontage to create a fresh, light atmosphere that showcases the natural stones' colors, textures, and shapes.
In 2024, Brazil exported US$1.26 billion in natural stones to 125 different countries, with a 12.7% increase compared to the previous year. The United States, as the main importing market, accounted for $678.4 million (56.3% of exports) – representing almost a 17% increase from the previous year. The opening ceremony for the Brazilian Pavilion will be held on April 29 at noon, bringing together company representatives and officials from both countries.
