The Dixie Group's Bill Waters to Retire After Distinguished 22-Year Career

The Dixie Group announced that Bill Waters, senior vice president Central U.S., will retire at the end of July, concluding a remarkable 22-year tenure with the company and nearly five decades in the flooring industry.
Waters joined The Dixie Group in the early 2000s with a mission to build the sales force for the newly launched Dixie Home brand, now known as DH Floors, which debuted in 2003. His role evolved significantly over the years, expanding to encompass sales leadership for all company brands across large regions throughout the United States.
"Bill has been a key part of TDG for the past 22+ years," the company stated. "He is respected throughout the industry and is a key part of our relationship with the NFA."
Before joining The Dixie Group, Waters built an impressive foundation in flooring industry leadership, holding multiple senior positions with prominent companies including World Carpets, Mohawk, and Beaulieu. This extensive background contributed to his nearly 50 years of total service in the flooring sector.
Throughout his career, Waters has been recognized for his relentless travel schedule and unwavering work ethic. His deep industry knowledge and extensive experience have made him an invaluable asset and ambassador for The Dixie Group.
"The level of knowledge and experience that Bill possesses is not easily replaced," the company noted. "He has been a great asset and ambassador for TDG over the years. He is very well respected in the industry and will be missed."
