QFloors Takes Anniversary Conference to Alaska
Technology company and customers explore future innovations while sailing through Alaskan waters during unique 25th anniversary celebration

QFloors, a leading flooring industry software company, is marking its 25th anniversary with an unconventional approach—hosting its annual Users Conference aboard Holland America's Koningsdam during a seven-day Alaskan cruise from August 16-23. The milestone celebration combines business development with scenic exploration as founders and customers navigate both Alaskan waters and the future of flooring technology.
"We wanted to do something special to mark our 25th year in business," said QFloors founder Chad Ogden. "While we already knew the incredible value of meeting and collaborating together, we wanted this conference to be uniquely memorable. And customers are telling us that we achieved that."
Roomvo serves as the leading room visualization platform for home decor and remodeling industries, with millions of monthly users across more than 150 countries. The company's proprietary technology enables consumers to preview flooring, wall coverings, and countertops in their homes within seconds.
QFloors, acquired by Roomvo in January 2025, provides user-friendly software designed to streamline operations for flooring stores of all sizes. The 25-year-old company continues to focus on delivering practical, results-driven technology solutions for flooring retailers.
The floating conference provides an opportunity for attendees to learn about new developments while offering input on the company's future direction, all against the backdrop of Alaska's dramatic landscapes.
New Leadership and Platform Launch
The conference marks the first major gathering since Roomvo's acquisition of QFloors in January 2025. Pawel Rajszel, CEO of Leap Tools (dba Roomvo), led opening discussions about future goals and technology development, emphasizing the company's customer-focused approach.
"Dealers are the lifeblood of the industry," Rajszel told attendees. "We don't come up with technology simply for the sake of it. It needs to drive real results, be easy to use, affordable, and supported."
During the opening session, Roomvo and QFloors unveiled their combined product suite and announced the release of QFloors version 10 on the new Roomvo platform, dubbed "QFX." The new platform promises significant improvements in stability, reliability, accessibility, mobility, and speed, accompanied by a refreshed user interface.
Enhanced Features and Customer Benefits
The QFX platform introduces numerous enhancements, including faster dropdown menus, advanced searching and scrolling capabilities, automated sales tax calculations, integrated e-signature tools, improved Google Maps integration, and automatic address completion features.
Early adopters are already experiencing the benefits. Sonia Sanchez of Excellence in Flooring & Remodeling, who attended the cruise conference, noted the enhanced stability and speed of the new platform. According to Rajszel, all QFloors customers can now migrate to the new platform to benefit from these improvements.
Unified Vision and Customer Priorities
Rajszel outlined the company's ambitious vision for customers: "Our vision for you, our customers, is one unified system, where changes are reflected everywhere with the data. You'll have full mobility, where anyone can work from anywhere, using any device, and everything is synchronized. AI will make things even more efficient, and the technology can help you sell entire rooms with visualization fully built in."
Customer feedback during group discussions revealed strong support for the Roomvo-QFloors partnership. Jennifer Homeyer, owner of The Design House, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration: "Getting our ERP technology right is essential to our companies. It's a vital foundation to our growth and future. I love the Roomvo and QFloors union. I believe they will go further and faster together! Two champions in our industry that care more about the dealers than their bottom line!"
Payment Processing Success Stories
Conference discussions also highlighted the success of QPay credit card processing services. QFloors announced the unification of its ACH and credit card processing services to streamline customer approvals and onboarding. Attendees using QPay reported significant cost savings.
Doug McCool of McCool's Flooring shared his experience: "I wish we would have done it sooner. I love QPay. Now not only do I get a good rate, but I get all of these other awesome features, like customers being able to pay electronically. For example, I love being on this cruise and hearing my phone notifications telling me that a new payment just came in."
Ogden confirmed that customer feedback consistently shows "huge amounts of money, time, and a reduction in accounts receivable by using QPay credit card processing."
