I4F Secures Six New Digital Embossing Patents
Global patents reinforce i4F's digital printing leadership and expand protection for Hymmen’s DLEplus technology.

I4F, a patent and technology provider to the flooring industry, has secured six new digital embossing patents from technology partner Hymmen across Europe, the United States, China and South Korea. The patents strengthen i4F's digital printing portfolio and expand global protection for Hymmen's exclusive DLEplus technology.
The patents cover breakthrough digital printing capabilities that transform flooring quality and design possibilities. DLEplus technology delivers scratch-resistant surfaces with authentic natural material appearances, while new low-gloss processes enable manufacturers to create floors with varying texture depths and gloss levels.
This expanded technology suite gives flooring manufacturers unprecedented design flexibility to capture realistic wood grains, stone textures, and other natural patterns while maintaining superior durability. The result: premium flooring products that meet growing consumer demand for both visual appeal and long-lasting performance.
The newly granted patents numbers include 12,090,511, 11,883,843 12,194,492, 3,733,307, 11,218,936, 10-2798285, 12,246,341 and 11,503,8592.
"Receiving these patent grants underscores our commitment to pushing the boundaries of digital printing technologies, specifically designed for the flooring industry," said Dr. René Pankoke, founder and CEO of Hymmen. "In partnership with i4F, we are not only improving the intricacy and quality of digitally printed flooring solutions but also ensuring that our innovations are well-protected around the globe."
