Shaw Industries Inc. and Shell Chemicals have introduced Shaw's Corterra carpet line, the first BCF carpet introduced in the United States based on Shell's Corterra Polymers.
According to Shaw, Corterra fibers are stain resistant and durable. They have nylon-like wear performance without the need for chemical stain treatments and complicated cleaning procedures. Most stains, including mustard, iodine and hot coffee, can be removed with hot water and are dry within a few hours, according to the company.
