TimberGrass bamboo flooring was featured in the Green House at the Puyallup Fair held Sept 6-22 in Puyallup, Wash. A project of Pierce County Public Works and Utilities, the Green House featured recycled and low-impact building materials.

The Moso bamboo used in TimberGrass products is harvested at six years, leaving behind a thriving plant and new shoots. With only 0.02 mg formaldehyde per cubic meter of air, the lamination adhesive used by TimberGrass off-gasses 6.5 times less than allowed under European (E1) standards, which are stricter than United States standards, according to TimberGrass.

The Puyallup Fair has been a tradition in the Pacific Northwest since 1900, and is the fifth largest fair in the country.
