R.C.A. adds presses, finishing equipment

R.C.A Rubber Co. recently installed new floor presses and additional cutting and finishing equipment in its Akron and Pulaski, Ohio plants. According to R.C.A., the addition of this equipment will increase product capacity and decrease lead time.
The new floor presses expand the company's production capacity to as much as 42,000 yards per week, which represents a 22% increase in capacity per month.
Akron-based R.C.A. Rubber Co. manufactures resilient flooring and rubber stair treads for the transit industries, school buses, schools, hospitals, and offices.
