Design Center Solutions has launched an independent training and services network to help floor covering contractors reinvent their builder businesses. The Design Center Solutions (DCS) program is comprised of five components for flooring contractors. Each offers an array of benefits.

For example, the Systems and Technology component includes training and consulting services, and web and software-based applications. The second component, Inside the Design Center, provides consumer educational and marketing tools and the Marketing to the Builder segment offers presentation materials. Other program features include Training and Consulting, in which industry experts teach one-day training courses, and Resources, a component through which experts help solve problems.

According to Design Center Solutions, the program helps to build a design center from the ground up. Members with design centers in place may choose from a menu of products and services to augment their existing efforts. The company says it guides flooring contractors through the entire process, from selling the builder to selling the upgrade.
