CAIRO, Egypt -– The Oriental Weavers Group has donated $20,000 to the American Red Cross and the New York Times 9/11 Neediest Fund in response to the recent terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C.

The donation comes from both the Oriental Weavers Group and its associate companies.

“We share with you the profound grief you are feeling over this tragic event, and condemn such attacks causing grave damage to innocent lives and properties,” said Mohamed Farid Khamis, the company’s chairman.
