Chicago Adhesive Products Co. recently acquired the commercial flooring adhesive business from GE Sealants and Adhesives (GESA). The acquisition included proprietary formulations, finished goods inventory, and the AIM brand name. No buildings or manufacturing equipment were acquired.

GESA will continue to manufacture products for Chicago Adhesive Products Co. during the transition period. GESA's public warehouses in Anaheim, Calif.; Springfield, Mass. and Dallas will remain open. The company's Atlanta-based warehouse will be closed. Inventory from this warehouse will be moved to a Dalton, Ga. warehouse.
