The National Oak Flooring Manufacturers Association (NOFMA) recently voted to change the association's name to NOFMA, The Wood Flooring Manufacturers Association. The new name was chosen to more accurately reflect the group's current membership and future direction.
NOFMA has updated its logo to reflect the name change and renamed its sister organization, the Oak Flooring Institute, as the Wood Flooring Institute.
The group will change the names of all NOFMA-certified flooring grades to simplify specification and ensure quality control of NOFMA-certified flooring products. The grade name changes are effective immediately and will be incorporated into all member operations by July 1.
