The two divisions will become a single operation, with one management team, fully integrating all flooring products into AFP.

Frank A. Riddick III will resign as president and chief operating officer of Armstrong Holdings Inc. and as president and chief executive officer of AWP to pursue other opportunities. Riddick served Armstrong as senior vice president for finance and chief financial officer for Armstrong World Industries Inc. in April 1995, as chief operating officer and president for Armstrong Holdings Inc. and as chief executive officer of AWP.

The wood cabinet business remains under the leadership of Chuck Engle, who will report directly to Mike Lockhart. The cabinet business was a division of Armstrong Wood Products.
