The Washington State Floor Covering Association (WSFCA) will host an Installation Trades Expo April 7, from 1 to 6 p.m., at the Renton Community Center in Renton, Wash. In addition to the trade show, this year's event will feature a Regional Installation Contest for carpet and resilient flooring that will be held April 6 and 7.
WSFCA has sponsored several trade shows in the past, featuring more than 30 manufacturers of installation-related products showing the latest improvements in setting materials and systems, underlayment products and tools of all kinds for all types of floor covering.
This year's two-day installation contest for carpet and vinyl installers will feature mechanics working on mock-up displays. The contest will be conducted under the auspices of the World Floor Covering Association and John Namba, WFCA director of Technical Services.
