Armstrong will initiate a 3 to 5 percent price increase on selected residential vinyl sheet flooring products effective with shipments on Dec. 1. The company cited significant increases in key raw materials as well as higher energy and transportation costs as the impetus for the price increase.

Additionally, Columbia Flooring will institute a price increase of as much as 10 percent on its 3/4-inch prefinished solid-oak hardwood flooring products.
