NFT names recipients of its first-ever Supplier Service Awards
With all votes tallied from the more than 40,000 ballots distributed, NFT has determined the manufacturer winners of its inaugural Supplier Service Awards. The voting covered 10 product-specific groups and an “Overall Best Product” category, for which Beaulieu of America edged out Armstrong. The other “Best Service” categories and winners follow.
Carpet: Shaw, first place; Beaulieu Residential, runner-up. Commercial Carpet: Shaw Commercial, first place; Beaulieu Commercial, runner-up. Area Rugs: Shaw Rugs, first place; Oriental Weavers, runner-up. Training Programs: Armstrong, first place; Mannington, runner-up. Installation Products, Tools & Equipment: Armstrong (Henry Adhesives), first place; Mapei, runner-up.
Ceramics/Stone: Florida Tile, first place; Dal-Tile, runner-up. Wood Floors: Bruce Hardwood, first place; Mannington Wood, runner-up. Laminate Floors: Wilsonart, first place; Mannington Laminates, runner-up. Resilient Floors: Mannington, first place; Armstrong, runner-up. Rubber Floors: Johnsonite, first place; Burke-Mercer and Armstrong, runners-up (tie).
Balloting for the NFT Supplier Service Awards kicked off at Surfaces 2000 and concluded on Feb. 15. Members from all segments of the floor covering industry — including manufacturers, distributors, sales agents, retailers, contractors and installers — submitted their choices of the companies that provide the best service in their respective product categories.
