The parent company of CarpetsPlusColor Tile, Alliance Flooring Inc., and The National Arbor Day Foundation, have launched a collaborative campaign aimed at planting trees in America’s forests and preserving rainforest land in Central and South America.

The new campaign will run in conjunction with the launch of CarpetsPlusColor Tile’s line of environmentally friendly products, EcoChoice Flooring.

With each qualified purchase of EcoChoice from participating CarpetsPlusColor Tile stores, Alliance Flooring will make a donation to the Arbor Day Foundation to support two of its programs: reforestation of America’s national forests, and Rain Forest Rescue. Each contribution will either plant one seedling tree in a national forest damaged by fire, insects or other natural causes, or it will preserve 250 sq. ft. of rain forest land in Central and South America.

“Our partnership with the National Arbor Day Foundation is a natural fit,” says Jon Logue, Alliance Flooring co-ceo and president. “While we can assure customers our EcoChoice Hardwoods come from managed and sustainable forests, we must go the extra mile to ensure we are doing our part in protecting trees worldwide from illegal harvesting and the devastating effect of forest fires.”

“This general contribution from Alliance Flooring on behalf of the CarpetsPlusColor Tile stores nationwide will help restore wildlife habitat, protect soil and waterways, and preserve the Earth’s vital forests for this and future generations,” added John Rosenow, The National Arbor Day Foundation president.
