Elegance Exotic Wood Flooring to move to new HQ
With an eye toward meeting increased demand for its exotic hardwood
products, Elegance Exotic Wood Flooring is moving. The Rancho Cucamonga,
Calif.-based distributor said it is relocating roughly nine miles east to a
facility that will more than double the company’s current capacity. Located at the
corner of Baseline Rd. and McGuire Ave. in Fontana, the new distribution center
will include 460,000 sq. ft. of warehouse and office space, as well as 70
docks.
“This move will allow us to expand our various lines and inventory levels,” said Michele McPherson, Elegance’s general manager. “We will also be updating our distribution technology, including upgrading computer systems and bar coding capabilities.”
The company said it expects to complete the move by September.
With manufacturing plants in China, Elegance Exotic Wood Flooring stocks a wide range of exotic hardwood flooring under the Elegance name. This includes the Everyday Elegance and Estate Elegance lines of engineered hardwood, as well as Exotic Elegance solid hardwood flooring in nine distinctive species.
