Citing an “expanding customer base
in the Pacific Northwest,” Plyboo bamboo flooring and plywood maker Smith &
Fong has opened a warehouse in the Puget Sound area. Plans call for the
location to stock the company’s full line of flooring and plywood.
Angus Stocks, vp of the San Francisco-based flooring maker,
said the new location will cater to a customer base well informed of green
trends. “We already have a significant customer base in the area now, and
demand is increasing, he said. “We felt the time was right to put down roots in
the market.”
