Vegas review: INSTALL asks industry experts for help on curriculum
Industry experts from major mills and manufacturers are set
to review the INSTALL curriculum May 19-20 in Las Vegas. To ensure the training
modules for carpet, resilient and standard skills are up to date, members of
INSTALL are asking experts from partnering mills and manufacturers to offer
their input and advice. The modules are developed by the United Brotherhood of
Carpenters’ International Training Fund (CITF).
John McGrath, INSTALL’s director, said the review would help keep the group’s training programs on “the cutting edge.”
“Technical review and comments from industry experts contributes greatly to INSTALL’s ability to place the industry’s most highly productive flooring professionals on jobsites throughout North America,” McGrath noted.
The review will be held at the CITF training center in Las Vegas. For more information, call (215) 582-4108 or send an e-mail to INSTALL@carpenters.org.
