The Washington State Floor Covering Association (WSFCA) will host "How to Make More Money Installing Electic Under-Floor Heating Systems," with stops in four cities this month. The event, from 3 to 5 p.m., will take place at United Tile in Everett, Sept. 26; WSL in Kent, Sept. 27; Cronin Co. in Tacoma, Sept. 28; and Wanke Cascade in Spokane, Sept. 29.

The meeting is geared toward installers, though it is also great for salespeople to observe, according to WSFCA. Topics covered will include: proper installation process for all types of electric radiant floor warming systems, including a hands-on demonstration; understanding properties of each system; understanding the difference between primary and secondary radiant heat; identifying suitable applications; determining the best installation process for specific subfloor materials; and why floor heating is ideal for bathroom and kitchen renovations.

Presenters are Tom Loika and Simon Smoldon, key account managers for Nuheat in the Pacific Northwest region. The meeting is sponsored by Nuheat, Cronin Co., United Tile, Wanke Cascade and WSL. Registration is $10 per person. For more information, e-mailwsfca@comcast.netor call (425) 885-0012.
