The celebrity chefs and other guests signed their names on carpet swatches -- in ketchup, mustard, and BBQ sauce -- to demonstrate the durability of the product.
“It was great fun,” said David Duncan, Mohawk vp marketing. “All their lives, people have been told to be careful and not drop anything on the carpet, and here we were, giving them some of the toughest stains imaginable and telling them to do their worst. It really drives home the point that SmartStrand with DuPont Sorona can handle even the messiest families.”
