Free 'Virtual Green Expo' set for Aug. 5
BNP Media, along with its magazines including The ACHR NEWS, ED+C, Sustainable Facility, Walls & Ceilings, and World Trade 100 (WT100), are offering a free online Virtual Green Expo on August 5.
The conference will include live keynotes and conference sessions under three tracks – Green Building, Green Manufacturing and Design, and Energy and Resource Management. Industry experts will offer their advice in events moderated by ED+C and Sustainable Facility editor Michelle Hucal, LEED AP. The show will also include technology demonstrations, virtual exhibits and downloadable content.
The event will open with a keynote from Kathy Loftus, global leader of sustainable engineering and energy management for Whole Foods Market. She’ll present “Integrating Better Building Blocks for the Foundation of our Future.”
“After the presentation, attendees can ask Loftus questions via live chat and get responses live,” Hucal said.
“We plan to have a variety of exhibitors for attendees to see including BASF, Duro-Last Roofing, Firestone Building Products, E-Mon, and Redi Controls,” added Diana Brown, group publisher of ED+C and Sustainable Facility. Virtual Green Expo is an AIA and USGBC Education Provider. Courses noted with credit will be approved for 1.0 AIA learning unit and/or 1.0 GBCI CE hour per 45-minute webinar and a 15-minute scheduled chat. Certificates of completion will be available for LEED Professionals to self report their CE hours in through GBCI.
