WSFCA says attendance up at recent market

This year's WSFCA Northwest Market & Trade Show saw a 30 percent increase in attendance over last year's.
The Washington State Floor Covering Association (WSFCA) Northwest Market & Trade Show, held recently at the Lynnwood Convention Center in Lynnwood, Wash., saw an increase in attendance of 30 percent over last year. The one-day show drew flooring dealers along with designers, architects and installers who traveled from around the state to attend. The event featured continuing education classes, demonstrations and an array of new products/services from 70 vendors.

“The local area interaction has far more bang for the buck,” added Todd Pierce with the Finishing Trades Institute.
Bob Simmonoff, West Shore Interiors, said the show allowed him to “do business with any vendor represented there.”

Vendors also called the show beneficial. John Luttrell with CorkArt called the event a “very good, well-rounded show.” Gary Gove of Mohawk echoed those sentiments, noting the event provided a “good mix of dealers.”
Tim Thompson of the Cronin Co. and Rick Tipton of Interiors Northwest of Puyallup co-chaired the event. The WSFCA said that plans are already underway for the 2012 Northwest Market & Trade Show.
