Formica Flooring announces the redesign of its consumer website, The new concept was built around the company’s current tagline, “Real looks for real life,” with an emphasis on livability and functionality.

The website’s landing page shows a baby taking her first steps while her mother reaches down in anticipation, and reads, “We’ve designed a beautiful collection of durable laminate floors, so you can spend your day celebrating milestones instead of obsessing over scratches.” In addition to the family oriented feel, the website has helpful features including a flooring calculator to estimate the number of cartons needed for a specific project as well as a virtual room designer to help consumers visualize the various flooring decors in a home setting.

In addition to the main consumer section, the website also includes areas for retailers and distributors. The retailer section consists of a merchandising support page, which highlights the Formica Flooring Premier Elite Display and an image library where retailers can instantly download high-resolution room scenes and logos. The distributor section offers downloads of useful forms and other informational items.
