The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) offers scholarships for ongoing education and training for wood flooring professionals. Programs include the Past Presidents Scholarship, the Dick Hradecki Scholarship, and the Edgar P. Anstett Powernail Scholarship. It is not necessary to be a member of the NWFA to participate in this program.

The NWFA Past Presidents Scholarship can be used to offset tuition costs for the NWFA’s Wood Flooring Basics School and the NWFA’s Intermediate Installation and Sand & Finish School. Scholarship amounts are $500 for NWFA members and $250 for nonmembers.

The NWFA Dick Hradecki Scholarship can be used to offset tuition costs for the NWFA’s Wood Flooring Basics School. Scholarship amounts are $800 for NWFA members and $600 for nonmembers.

The NWFA Edgar P. Anstett Powernail Scholarship can be used to offset tuition costs for the NWFA’s Advanced Installation School, the NWFA’s Expert Installation School, and the NWFA’s Expert Sand & Finish School.  Scholarship amounts are $1,000 for both NWFA members and nonmembers.

Scholarship applications are due 30 days before the start of the school to be eligible. Scholarships will be awarded after the full registration fee is received, and attendance at the school is confirmed. Financial need is not required to receive an NWFA scholarship.
