RALEIGH, NC -- David Allen Co. says it is proud to present the results of the 2011 golf tournament sponsored by its D.C. branch office, under the leadership of Senior Vice President, Phil Halcomb.

The 2011 event raised a total of $54,686. This sum includes the proceeds from the tournament plus direct donations to MS from David Allen Company’s Raleigh headquarters, and also from the significant generosity of the Rothberg family and Ed Metcalf, President of North American Division of Laticrete International; Harold Turk, President of Dal-Tile; Jody Rotondo, CEO of Terrazzo and Marble Supply; and Andy Budd, CEO of Country Chevrolet, Warrenton, VA.

For 17 years, Halcomb has championed the cause of fund-raising for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, primarily through the participation of his friends and industry associates in the annual golf tournament. Halcomb was assisted in this endeavor by his wife, Kathy Halcomb, and by his DAC-DC staff.

This year’s donation brings a total of close to $450,000 raised by Halcomb and DAC-DC staff over the past 17 years. In a letter of appreciation, the MS Chapter President thanked Halcomb and David Allen Company for their continued commitment to raising money and awareness on behalf of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and noted that “the funds raised by the tournament will help many of the over 65,000 people living with MS in the Washington metropolitan area.”
