Cooperativa Ceramica d'Imola North America Debuts 5 New Programs

May 2, 2012
Cooperativa Ceramica d’Imola, North America introduces five new programs under the Imola Ceramica brand known for Italian design and artistry, and spanning multiple segments and formats.

Cooperativa Ceramica d’Imola, North America introduces five new programs under the Imola Ceramica brand. The Imola Ceramica brand offering, known for Italian design and artistry, includes a wide range of products that span multiple segments and include large and small format tiles.

“With a growing North American market, the demand for quality product as well as a focus on design is increasing. Our Imola Ceramica products offer solutions for our customers that fit these requirements,” said Thomas D. Smith, president of Cooperativa Ceramica d’Imola North America. “This year, we’re excited to expand our offering [across multiple brands] to bring our customers greater diversity than ever before.”

Imola Ceramica’s new collections, offering a breadth of ceramic and porcelain choices for every area of the interior environment, are styled for aesthetics yet created for performance. Unique to Imola Ceramica’s offerings is the technologically advanced ceramic product resulting in high-performing, spectacularly beautiful, full-body porcelain tile. Five new programs under the Imola Ceramica brand launched at Coverings and include a preview of three additional collections slated to launch by the end of 2012. With an international perspective on product demands, each launch is targeted for specific markets with a focus on color-forecasting trends, diversity in size formats, and innovative textures and aesthetics.

“We have established most of our market partnerships and already see signs of organic growth, which is unexpected this early in the year,” said Andrea Bacchini, sales manager for the U.S. “I give full credit to our dedicated North American sales and customer service teams. Clearly the market is ready for a global fashion-driven program that can be supported locally.”

From the Imola Ceramica collection, Beestone is a spectacularly beautiful, full-body porcelain tile available in five sophisticated color ways. Beestone mimics the aesthetic of a natural stone and has the durability of a high-performance tile product. Inspired by interior design trends currently found in northern Europe, its sophisticated colors range from light to dark, with luxurious whites and warm beiges to the ideal black and dark grays. This simple range of natural colors, delivers the perfect solution for any interior environment whether it is a sumptuous residential setting or a contemporary public space. Available in matte or lappato finishes and small and large formats, including 36 inches x 36 inches, 18 inches x 36 inches, 24 inches x 24 inches, 18 inches x 18 inches and trim or mosaics.

Magma. Like the complex system found in molten rock, Magma gives rise to a new collection of full-body porcelain. Magma is minimal and modern. Its simple layers of texture and subtle colorations create an elegant aesthetic typically found in natural stone. Unlike the volcanic nature its name implies, Magma has a calm, sophisticated aesthetic that will complement almost any setting. Magma is available in a natural finish appealing to the modern application or the glass-like lappato finish discovering a more classic feel. Magma is the perfect porcelain solution for almost every application including residential or commercial, light or heavy traffic areas and floor or wall surfaces. Magma comes standard 24 inches x 24 inches, 12 inches x 24 inches, and in mosaic, decors and trim pieces.

Koshi. Giving porcelain tile an entirely new meaning to the modern aesthetic, Koshi’s almost suede-like, matte finish provides the perfect backdrop for almost any setting. Koshi combines aesthetics and durability suitable for high traffic environments ranging from a building lobby to a popular shopping center. Its sumptuous surface coupled with subtlety-striated patterning results in a design that is current and will come to be the new classic years from now. This inventive aesthetic can be elegant or casual, luxurious or minimalist. Koshi is available in small and large formats ranging from 12 inches x 12 inches to 24 inches x 48 inches.

Concrete Projectis a stunning, full-body porcelain tile available in 8 natural colorways and four finishes: matte, honed, bush-hammered and structured. Available in traditional sizes as well as a large format, 48 inches x 48 inches - a perfect solution when a large-scale product is necessary for open areas such as retail stores, hotels or corporate building lobbies. Inspired by industrial settings, this is our interpretation of poured concrete, a perfect, modern solution for environments that require a minimal touch. Concrete Project’s color line consists of varying hues of cool gray to warm gray and shades light to dark.

Bilder is “the perfect example of how the most technologically advanced ceramic product can maintain a strong soul.” Combining the simplicity and seriousness of a monochromatic, solid color porcelain tile, Bilder’s authentic colorline consists of cool and warm tones that are both minimal and relevant. Bilder is beautiful and versatile, delivering the perfect solution for almost any high traffic environment or when an exterior application wants to make a important statement. Its natural finish mimics the latest minimalist trends, while its deluxe polished finish can impress almost any environment. Bilder is available in 24 inches x 24 inches, 12 inches x 24 inches, and 18 inches x18 inches.
