Interface Inc., the parent company of InterfaceFLOR, FLOR and Bentley Prince Street, launched MissionZero.org at the recent Greenbuild show in Boston. Aimed at creating "a zero environmental footprint by 2020," the website community gives users the tools to talk to experts, post comments, join causes, act on daily "missions," and view news feeds in a format similar to Facebook.

According to Rhonda Mitchell, director of marketing for InterfaceFLOR, the new site includes access to over 300 feeds piped in from sustainability websites across the Internet. "The website pulls up these feeds and sorts them into 14 different categories," she said. "Users can decide which feeds they want to see and what groups and causes they want to join."

She considered the look at MissionZero.org at Greenbuild a "soft launch." "MissionZero.org will be hard launching in January," she said. For more information, visitwww.MissionZero.org.
