Daltile recently extended its support as a tile provider for the Craftsman “House United” program. Craftsman built its most recent "House United" home with help from Ty Pennington, Sears Heroes at Home, Rebuilding Together, NextGen Home built by Champion Home Builders and Bank of America. The House United team built one half of a house during the Republican National Convention and the other half during the Democratic National Convention through a joint community service effort. After the two segments of the home were built during the conventions, they united in Charlotte and the completed home was donated to a deserving military veteran on October 17, 2012.

“As a company, Daltile strives to enrich the lives of others by giving back to our communities,” said Lori Kirk-Rolley, senior marketing director, Dal-Tile. “Our participation in the House United project is a small token of our appreciation for the sacrifices made by our troops and veterans.”

As a House United partner, Daltile donated an assortment of stylish floor and wall tile from its extensive portfolio of products, including Sublime Glazed Wall Tile, P’Zazz ColorBody Porcelain, Magma ColorBody Porcelain, Fashion Accents Glass, Metal & Decorative Accents, Rittenhouse Square Glazed Wall & Counter Tile and Modern Dimensions Glazed Wall & Counter Tile.
