ARDEX Americas Aliquippa Manufacturing and Distribution Center recently celebrated two significant safety milestones: two years with no OSHA recordable incidents and nine years with no lost time injuries.

“ARDEX Americas takes the health and safety of our employees very seriously,” said Ron Juncal, ARDEX Americas Operations Manager. “We put a tremendous amount of effort into safety training and education in an effort to provide all employees with the knowledge to work safely.”

Three additional ARDEX Americas manufacturing and distribution centers have impressive safety records: Dallas, Georgia manufacturing facility has gone three years incident-free, Bourbonnais, Il has gone six months, and Mansfield, TX has never had lost time incident since it opened in 2009.

“Much of the success and focus on safety is attributed to the ARDEX Americas safety committee which has been in existence since 2006,” said Jesse David, ARDEX VP/General Manager. “Ten employees representing different departments meet monthly to discuss safety strategy and implementation for three ARDEX Americas sites.”

The Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSH Act) was passed to prevent workers from being killed or seriously harmed at work. The law requires employers to provide their employees with working conditions that are free of known dangers. The Act created the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), which sets and enforces protective workplace safety and health standards.

ARDEX Americas Mansfield Manufacturing and Distribution Center recently received recognition from the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) for exemplary facility safety standards. For more information about ARDEX please visit www.ardexamericas.com or call 1-888-512-7339.
