UFLOOR Systems, Inc. parent company, Uzin-Utz AG, announced recently that they will build a new production facility in Ilsfeld, Germany where both Hermann Frank Ltd. and Wolff production will be combined.


The company will invest approximately $6.75 million dollars in the new plant with construction set to begin early summer 2013. This new plant will improve production processes for both machine brands and will also house full production of the Wolff brand of professional floor installation tools. The new facilities will include development, production, logistics and administration and will comprise approximately 62,000 square feet and will include an additional 31,000 square feet for future expansion. With this new expansion, Uzin will also build a training facility for customers and employees. Construction of the new plant will be finished by mid-2014. At the new production complex 65 new jobs will be created, 10 of which will be apprenticeship positions.


Julian Utz, manager of production and development for the Wolff brand commented: "We're delighted to have found such a perfect location for us in Ilsfeld. Transportation, logistics and infrastructure provide us with the best of conditions.
