Although the 17th Domotex asia/ChinaFloor (DACF) is not taking place until March 24 to 26, the number of international suppliers registered to participate already exceeds the figure for the previous event, according to show officials. Additionally, the number of wood flooring manufacturers expected to exhibit next time is 50% higher than this year.

Four entire exhibition halls have been allocated to wood and laminate, for which leading international companies such as Kronoswiss, Kronotex, Beaulieu, Ter Hürne, Egger, Berry Alloc and Witex have signed up. Chinese exhibitors include Nature, Sunyard, Yihua, Boer, Jinqiao, Teclic and Huaming.

Trade visitors and exhibitors will have an opportunity to use the lead marketing campaign offered by show organizers with the aim of maximizing the benefits of their participation. This program has been specifically developed to improve efficiency for trade visitors and exhibitors—for example, even before the show begins visitors will be able to identify exhibiting firms which match their interests and arrange meetings with them.

DACF offers exhibitors from outside the host nation the opportunity to benefit from the lead marketing campaign, which includes an evaluation of visitor invitation responses (using a special code system) and the online ranking of exhibitors, as well as free on-site advertising for the most popular exhibitors. A new tool collates and ranks the invitations, allowing organizers to assess the results and announce the names of the most popular exhibitors, who will then be offered the opportunity to advertise free of charge on site at the exhibition.

This year, DACF attracted 1,177 exhibitors from every segment of the industry. Of these companies around 22% came from outside China. In 2015 the trade fair will occupy 12 exhibition halls with a total area of 459,200 square feet.
