The International Surface Event (TISE) kicked off the 2023 National Installer of the Year Competition with the Southeast Regionals in Orlando, Florida, on July 31. The winner for each category was announced on Monday, August 1, during the International Certified Flooring Installers Convention. 

This first event had two installers competing in the wood category and four in the carpet category.

Confindustria Ceramica and the Italian Trade Agency are excited to announce that submissions for the 2022 Ceramics of Italy Tile Competition are now open.

Participants will be judged on categories like environmental friendliness, conceptual and technical quality, and creativity and innovation. 

Entrants are invited to post a photo of their work through Friday, Dec. 17.
