Exhibitors at this year’s NWFA Expo are coming armed with a range of high-end tools and products to help you get the job done right.

These tools offer a straightforward way to cut through the confusion and identify environmentally responsible, real wood flooring products that will withstand the test of time and add value to a home, according to Michael Martin, NWFA president and CEO.

The Certified Flooring Installer (CFI) program and the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) will now offer credit toward certifications for students completing the Floor Covering Education Foundation Basic Flooring Installation program.

This year Ken Ballin, owner, Skyro Floors, plans to create awareness surrounding tradeshow events and highlight what's important for installers. He will be at the JLC Live Residential Construction Show and NWFA Expo to demo a number of Bostik products, and he has plans to join iQ Power Tools at Coverings.

Registration is open for the 2023 NWFA Wood Flooring Expo, being held May 2-4 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at the Wisconsin Center.
 

The winners of The International Surface Event (TISE) National Installer of the Year Competition were announced on Thursday, February 2 on the Surfaces Stage. Eight competitors spent two days working on complex work orders in the carpet and wood categories. 

The program was established to identify engineered wood flooring products with wear layers thick enough to be sanded and refinished. 

3M, Delmhorst Instrument Co., and Primatech specifically funded the PIE Sponsored Scholarships, and chose the recipients based on all who applied throughout the entire 2022 school year.
