There are a multitude of design philosophies that promote better environmental and personal harmony with one’s space. Practicing how to improve our overall quality of life through good space design involves being focused on changing trends, surrounding culture, and how we coexist in balance between self and nature. Basho, meaning “place” in Japanese, is a collection that explores the different organic approaches and ideals of creating peaceful places with six distinct patterns (Roush, Lykke, Cambrian, Typhanna, Majken, and Terez) articulating design principles that embrace attributes of this belief.
