Spartanburg, S.C. -- Milliken officially opened the doors to the new San Francisco showroom by hosting a grand opening event to welcome architects and designers to the space. Designed by Donald Cremers at HOK, the 5,300 square foot space is located in the Bemis building in Jackson Square.

“We saw this as an opportunity to not only display beautiful flooring, but also to illustrate the larger story of Milliken’s leading role in innovation, business ethics and sustainability,” said Donald Cremers, principal at HOK. “The interior design provides a simple white background suggestive of other Milliken showrooms, and then adds a nod to our modern Bay Area design heritage by providing a play between the raw and the refined.”

The San Francisco showroom is also in the process of seeking WELL Certification through IWBI’s WELL Building Standard. Recently, Milliken’s Chicago Showroom became WELL Certified Platinum, the first Platinum space in Chicago and the 100th WELL Certified space globally.
