Cali Bambo has added new European oak styles to its GeoWood flooring line. GeoWood combines real timber layered over GeoCore, Cali’s stabilizing SPC limestone composite foundation. This technological breakthrough yields rock solid hardwood flooring with AquaDefy water resistance and a rapid click-lock installation system. The seven new floors feature a 1.2mm thick beauty layer of genuine European white oak, which is Euro sawn for 74-13/16 in. long, 7-15/32 in. wide planks. This type of luxury cut along with wire-brushing and reactive staining brings out the wood’s natural visual character, highlighting its knots, rays, and bold oak grain.
The proprietary limestone composite core is 100% waterproof and fortifies each GeoWood plank, enabling it to resist indentation from high heels, pet claws, and furniture. GeoCore’s composition translates to 50% better dimensional stability, resulting in less expansion and contraction, and as little as 24 hours of acclimation required before laying down planks. The new oak styles also benefit from Companion Core technology wherein the GeoCore spine is coordinated to complement the wood color on the surface. AquaDefy technology ensures moisture protection, making GeoWood perfect for bathrooms, kitchens, and below-grade spaces like basements. Superior water resistance also makes planks more resilient and easier to clean.
