Nemo Tile + Stone announced the lease signing of a new, 5,700-sq.-ft. showroom located in Southampton, New York. The new showroom, which comes as the brand celebrates its 100th year in business, will be located among high-end boutiques, restaurants, and art galleries for which the prestigious town is known. Set to open its doors this spring, the showroom will house Nemo Tile + Stone’s product portfolio and serve as an area resource center for designers.  

“We are eager to begin this chapter in the Hamptons, and expand our horizons further, bringing both Nemo Tile + Stone’s expertise and extensive line-up of products to our long-time clients who have relocated out east during the pandemic,” said Matt Karlin, president of Nemo Tile + Stone. “I am looking forward to seeing the success of the location and hit the ground running with the addition of an experienced team lead that is well-versed in the area’s needs.”

The Southampton location will be led by newly appointed Showroom Manager and Design Consultant Herb Crestani who joins the team with more than 16 years in the surfacing industry as it relates to the larger Hamptons region. In his role, Crestani will oversee the procurement of materials for customers, and utilize his vast experience in the business to establish new relationships with clients, as well as foster existing ones. 

“Throughout the 20 years that I’ve known Matt Karlin we have spoken about collaborating on a showroom,” Crestani said. “Finally making that dream a reality is particularly exciting and I look forward to making the showroom a one of a kind shopping and design experience.” 

Ahead of the showroom opening its door officially this spring, a temporary space located on the premises is available to service current customer needs. Crestani will similarly oversee operations and serve as the contact for designers, contractors, and architects alike, providing guidance in the specification process for projects of every scale.
