Fishman Flooring Solutions Expands Footprint into Alabama

Fishman Flooring Solutions, Baltimore, the Maryland-based flooring and flooring installation products distributor, has opened a full-service branch in Birmingham, Alabama. The 13,000-square-foot facility, which is branch number 38 for the firm, will serve residential and commercial flooring installation contractors in the greater Birmingham, Huntsville and Montgomery, Alabama markets.

“As part of our strategic plan, we’ve been considering expansion into the Alabama marketplace for some time.” said Bob Wagner, Fishman president and CEO. “We proceeded with caution, however, as the coronavirus pandemic unfolded and caused some uncertainty in the flooring marketplace. We’ve now done our due diligence and are convinced that there is a significant need for a full-service distributor of flooring and flooring installation products in Alabama. Our intent is to fill that need with our Birmingham location.”
