Coverings, the largest international tile and stone exhibition and conference in North America, is hosting its fifth and final installment of its Coverings Connected digital experience. The three-session online event will take place November 17, 2021, via coverings.com

The November Coverings Connected experience will provide attendees with the opportunity to gain valuable insights and earn Continuing Education Credits (CEUs). 

“Back by popular demand, Coverings Connected in November is going to present never-before-seen tile and stone content across a wide spectrum of topics, such as materials and trends, installation and fabrication, and workforce and profits,” said Jennifer Hoff, president of Taffy Event Strategies LLC, the show management company for Coverings.

Session 1

11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EST

Achieving Green Building Goals with Natural Stone

Presenters: Michael Picco, President, Picco Engineering; Sarah Gregg, Marketing Manager, Natural Stone Institute

Learning objectives for the first session range from understanding the inherent attributes that make natural stone an easy option for sustainability goals to identifying credits available through common green building programs that natural stone can help satisfy. 

Session 2

12:30 – 1:30 p.m. EST

Tile Installations and Critical Lighting

Presenter: Mark Heinlein, Training Director, National Tile Contractors Association 

The second session’s objective include determining the requirements of the substrate before tile is installed, understanding critical lighting, and familiarizing with various methods to correctly inspect critical lighting issues, among others. 

Session 3

2:00 – 3:00 p.m. EST

Supply Chain Disruption: Making the Inflexible, Flexible

Presenters: Helgi Thor Leja, Senior Director, Distribution Performance Solutions

In the last session, attendees will cover the root causes for the present supply chain issues as well as remedies and ideas that can be applied to enable businesses to survive and thrive during the disruption. 

Additionally, the programming will offer an advanced glimpse of the trends and learning opportunities planned for Coverings 2022, which is scheduled for April 5-8, 2022, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
