The International Surface Event is planning a impactful roster of education, competitions and certifications during the upcoming TISE show, January 24-26, 2024, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Here are a few highlights. 

1 Women’s Leadership Conference 

 Build your industry network in this special program designed to expand your knowledge and connections. Open to both women and men in the industry, this half-day program is crafted to encourage leadership, learning, and connection, and concludes with a reception for the entire group. 2 National Installer of the Year Competition 

After four regional competitions across the United States, TISE and the International Certified Flooring Installers (CFI) will feature eight regional finalists who have qualified to the National Competition in Las Vegas. January 24 – 26. Each winner will receive a trip to Las Vegas to TISE 2024, a plaque, and an additional $200 prize. Plus, the 2024 National Installer of the Year winners in Las Vegas for each category will receive a championship heavyweight belt, a $2,500 grand prize, and the priceless opportunity to call themselves the National Installer of the Year.

3 ASID Inside Surfaces Tour 

TISE and The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) have partnered to debut a series of free tours pairing educational segments with curated stops at leading surface manufacturers. The ASID tours are a free and exciting opportunity that will deliver inspiring brand discovery, by introducing participants to the innovative world of hard and soft surfaces while they expand their resources.

4 Certifications & Trainings

TISE works in conjunction with major industry associations to provide certifications and trainings tailored for many industry career segments. Certification program are available from the National Tile Contractors Association, Certified Floorcovering Installer Association, North American Laminate Floor Association, National Wood Flooring Association, and the Natural Stone Institute

5 Pulse Seminars

Have your finger on the pulse of what is hot, forthcoming, and future-casted for the upcoming year and beyond in the Pulse Seminars at TISE. Each seminar is approximately 45 minutes in length with Q&A to follow and are conveniently scheduled to allow for exhibit hall discovery.
