Harlan Stone, CEO of HMTX Industries, announced the promotion of Simon Xia to Chief Quality Officer to oversee product quality across the HMTX family of companies.

As the Chief Quality Officer, Xia is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. He works closey with HMTX’s Supply Chain and Compliance teams and Sustainability, Transparency, Impact, and Community (STIC) operations to ensure all products are manufactured in a transparent, sustainable, and responsible way. 

Prior to joining HMTX, Simon worked for several multinational companies in supplier quality management functions, such as Honeywell, Philips Lighting, and The Home Depot Asia Sourcing Office. Simon earned a bachelor’s degree in Heat Energy Equipment and Device from Tongji University and a Master of Business Administration degree from China Europe International Business School.

“Simon has worked as the General Manager of HMTX China for more than 16 years. His deep knowledge and rich experience of the manufacturing process, proficient quality management skills, long-term relationships built with our Chinese manufacturing partners, and dedicated customer focus make it a natural transition and in line with the company's manufacturing diversification strategy," said Stone.
