Cevisama, Spain's premier ceramics and bathroom exhibition, has forged a strategic alliance with Feria Hábitat València, welcoming the furniture show to establish a promotional presence at its February 24-28, 2025 event in Valencia. This partnership represents a calculated response to mounting pressure from international competitors, with both sectors recognizing the need to highlight Spanish craftsmanship's superior quality.
The ceramics industry, facing challenges from lower-priced imports, sees natural synergies with Spain's furniture and interior design sectors. By hosting Hábitat's promotional stand in the Central Mall on Level 2, Cevisama creates a comprehensive design ecosystem that emphasizes quality materials and exceptional manufacturing across complementary home sectors.
The collaboration particularly targets the contract sector—architects, designers, and specifiers working on hospitality and public space projects—where quality and durability command premium rates. This is exemplified by the reimagined designer hotel installation by architect Héctor Ruiz-Velázquez, which showcases how Spanish ceramics and furniture work in harmony.
While Cevisama runs in February and Hábitat's main event occurs September 29-October 2, 2025, this cross-promotion strategy allows both industries to present a unified quality-first approach to international buyers.
The partnership extends to Espacio Cocina SICI, scheduled for 2026 alongside Hábitat and Textilhogar, creating a vision of Spain as the premium design destination for discerning professionals seeking alternatives to lower-quality global competitors.
