"Through initiatives like Houzz Scholarships, free access to Houzz Pro and a range of career resources, we're committed to empowering students throughout their educational and professional journeys."
Application Requirements and Benefits
To apply, students must submit a brief essay discussing their design and architecture influences and create a professional student profile on Houzz. The platform provides scholarship recipients with networking opportunities among more than 3 million active professionals worldwide.
Hausman praised the caliber of applicants, noting their "enthusiasm for the built environment, hands-on experience and bold vision for the industry's future."
Students pursuing studies in interior design, construction, architecture, landscape architecture, architectural engineering, or skilled trades are eligible to apply through houzz.com/scholarships.
Additional Student Resources
Beyond scholarships, Houzz offers Houzz Pro for Students, providing eligible U.S. students with free one-year access to the company's AI-powered project management and design software. The program helps students gain hands-on experience with professional tools including Takeoffs, Estimates, Proposals, 3D Floor Plans, and Mood Boards.
The software access aims to help students develop practical skills in business practices that will benefit them in their future careers, whether in interior design, construction management, or architecture.
The scholarship program represents part of Houzz's broader commitment to supporting the next generation of construction and design professionals through educational initiatives and career development resources.
