Entering its seventh year in business, quartz tile maker Quartzitec has upgraded its New Brunswick plant to produce new materials. According to William Wassef, president of the company, these enhancements include the ability to produce "concrete quartz material, polymer-modified concrete quartz and special lines with inserts of glass, mirrors and mother of pearl."

Additionally, the 40,000 square-foot plant will now produce a spectrum of "true colors" for its tile, including red, blue, orange, yellow, green and violet. Previously, the plant produced black and white tiles.
