Laminate flooring manufacturer Faus Group, Inc. will be moving its Dalton, Ga. administrative offices to a new facility in Calhoun, Ga. next month (December 2005). The new facility, located on 75 acres with an existing 400,000 sq. ft. building will include a 280,000 sq. ft. manufacturing operation. The manufacturing portion is projected to be in full production by summer 2006, according to the company.

Timed to coincide with the new facility expansion, Faus has also restructured its management team. The new management team as named by Juan Negre, chairman of the board of directors will be Juan Flores, president; Dan Snapper, vice president of sales and marketing; Traci Powell, marketing director; Steve Coppenger, director of sales - Home Depot; Stan McMackins, technical services director; Stan Barden, finance operations director; and Kathy McWhorter, administration logistics director.

Flores, who formerly served as company general manager, has been with the company in Dalton since its incorporation.

"Our strategy for growth continues to be based on bringing exclusive innovation and technology to the U.S. market," said Flores. "The investment in our Calhoun plant is a key factor in supporting our North American customers."
