Quick-Step Inc., manufacturer of Uniclic glueless laminate flooring, has made an aggressive push into the United States market over the past year, and intends to implement plans that would increase its U.S. market share even more during 2003.

During its 18 months in the United States, Quick-Step has established an extensive distribution network and placed product in retail outlets throughout the country. The company has partnered with 15 regional distributors and thousands of retailers nationwide. Quick-Step also maintains three warehouse facilities in the United States.

At the retail level, the company concentrates on independent flooring stores that provide consumers with professional consulting and installation services. Quick-Step says it will continue to strengthen its presence during the spring with a major U.S. marketing campaign that will include print and broadcast advertising.
