Alan Greenberg, industry pioneer and co-founder and co-CEO of CCA Global Partners, died Aug. 28 after a long battle with cancer. He was 63. Greenberg remained active in the industry throughout his life. Among his many roles, he served as president and chairman of the Retail Floor Covering Institute and sat on the board of the World Floor Covering Association. He was inducted into the WFCA Hall of Fame in 2002.

John F. Morgan, a respected and admired figure in the flooring industry for more than 30 years, died unexpectedly August 15. He was 68 years old. Morgan spent his entire career in the flooring industry with the No-Muv Corp. and was among the first to be hired by the Jacksonville, Fla.-based company when it was launched in the late 1970s.
