Amorim Flooring, maker of Wicanders cork flooring, said it has signed a deal with Tate Access Floors to handle the company's newest line of commercial flooring. Tate will be the OEM supplier in North America for Wicanders UP, a new line of access floors aimed at the commercial market. Wicanders UP is made using 92 percent recycled material, and is offered in a wide range of cork and wood visuals.

The company notes that its Wicanders UP access floors are the only ones in the industry with a 3.2 mm thickness. Additionally, the product features Wicanders' High Performance Surface and carries a 15-year commercial warranty.

Based in Jessup, Md., Tate Access Floors has more than 45 years of experience in creating, selling and distributing raised access floors. Tate is also known for a wide range of "green" products and practices.
