Laticrete, a manufacturer of globally proven construction solutions for the building industry, has been sponsoring junior racer Joey Ternullo,, who continues to set unprecedented records in his young racing career.
At Waterford (CT) Speedbowl's final Wild ‘n Wacky race program of the season, which was held September 11th, the "track championship" was claimed by Joey Ternullo. With this victory, he became the youngest champion in the history of the Legend Cars division…at 14 years of age.
Joey is the son of Joe Ternullo of Middletown Ceramic Tile Company, a firm that has been using Laticrete materials and methods for over 50 years. Laticrete began sponsoring Joey a few years ago. According to his father, Joe Sr., "Just like Laticrete keeps providing companies like ours with winning solutions relative to the installation of tile and stone, Joey keeps winning races on behalf his sponsor. After winning the race and being heralded as the youngest driver in his division ever to do so, young Ternullo graciously accepted his trophy and dedicated his efforts to Laticrete.
